So a whole month has passed since my last post. And as you can probably tell, no new design is up and I have not switched from Blogger to another CMS. So why the hiatus? Well, here’s the story.

I love the whole idea of blogging. It’s a lot of things at once; it’s a creative outlet, it’s a journal, it’s a place to post pictures, it’s an awesome way to document life. At the same time, there are some things that I would like to write about, but wouldn’t want everyone in the world to read. I felt I needed another way/another place to write about what’s going on in my life. So for the past 2 months, I’ve been recording my thoughts elsewhere. That’s right, I started another blog. Dun, dun, dun…. It feels like I’ve been cheating on my website. Haha.

In all seriousness, I needed another outlet, my own private place, to just write about whatever I was feeling at the time without having the whole world read it. I don’t plan on abandoning this site, but not all of my posts will make it to this site. I don’t even know how long I’ll keep the other site going. It just really depends on what’s going on at the time. Who knows, one day I’ll import the posts, but for now, I like having my own private space on the web.

And really, there IS a redesign in the works. It’s just that creativity doesn’t happen overnight. At least not for me. Unlike some people.

If you haven’t noticed, I added a link to my Flickr page over in the sidebar. I don’t know why I didn’t join sooner. I’ll still make albums the way I’ve been doing them before, but for random pictures, Flickr will be the way to go.
