Ok, so that was fast. One day after I announce my semi-retirement, I’m gallivanting around Newport Beach. I guess I need to redefine the terms of my semi-retirement. I guess all I really needed was a change of scenery. Our usual spots are crawling with the usual people. The same ugly usual people. I tend to get tired of ugly people really quick. So for now, if I do go out, it has to somewhere where the “usuals” will not be.

Second, I’m going to keep my partying down to only one night a week. Late night happy hours not included. Let’s hope I can stick to those rules. Oh, and trips to Vegas on Fourth of July weekend are not included either.
